Painting and drawing

A lot of my work, in various media, is around Spurn. I have collected everything onto this page.

Alfie, bodyboarding Watercolour on watercolour postcard
Spurn Groynes III; watercolour on paper, 60 x 40 cm
Spurn Groynes IV; watercolour on paper, 60 x 40 cm
Spurn Groynes V; watercolour on paper, 40 x 60 cm
The old lighthouse tower at Spurn; oil on canvas, 50 x 50 x 2 cm
Matt and the cat; acrylic on paper. My son sent me a selfie – for me it summed up our sense of the ridiculous
Hats; watercolour on paper.
Summer in Mallorca: watercolour on paper
Poppies; watercolour on paper
Mum; pastel on pastel paper. A portrait of my mother, created two days before she died. It had been intended as a birthday present.

Life drawing: I started drawing under the tutelage of Brian Sayers when we both worked at City of Westminster College. We both left and he set up classes in his studio. Great teaching and great fun. I really miss them.

Alfie on his birthday: a quick charcoal sketch of my grandson
Axonometric drawing of space rover. Trying to understand structure.
Reflections; charcoal and chalk on cartridge (59.4 x 42 cm)
